Access to vaccines for children is #Solvable. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala describes how lowering the costs of vaccines and establishing sustainable immunization programs in the places that need them most, can help prevent the death of children before the age of five.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is Chair of the Board of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Chairperson of the African Risk Capacity Agency Governing Board, and Co-Chair of the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate.  Previously, Okonjo-Iweala served twice as Nigeria’s Finance Minister, from 2003-2006 and 2011-2015, and briefly as Foreign Minister in 2006. She is the first woman to hold both positions. She spent 25 years prior at the World Bank.
