Project: “Sustainable Growth Strategy for the Global Peer Collaboration (GPC) Platform”
Lara Rabiu is a social entrepreneur and business leader working to catalyze businesses providing industry solutions in Africa. She came to Bellagio in November 2023 to develop a sustainable business plan and growth strategy for the Global Peer Collaboration Platform, a platform that connects future industry leaders in Africa to their peers around the world to enable them to collaborate, co-create and transition successfully into highly sought-after careers. She is currently an investment professional at Oppenheimer Partners and the founder and curator of the Afara Initiative, a non-profit organization that develops future graduates and leaders at scale. Previously, she was the growth-stage Chief Financial and Operating Officer and interim CEO at the innovative African Leadership Academy.
