Welcome to the second Bellagio Bulletin, where you’ll learn of the many ways that the Bellagio Center has supported the work of the world’s leading thinkers. We, at The Rockefeller Foundation, are committed to gender equality and the Bellagio Center has helped us to advance the global gender equality agenda. The activities and conversations at Bellagio have prompted meaningful outcomes. Many convenings and residences highlighted here focused on rallying women pioneers worldwide. This includes the international cohort of Connected Women Leaders and the climate justice advocacy of Mary Robinson, the distinguished group of Global Women Leaders, as well as the Pan-African collective of Amujae Leaders, an initiative stemming from the work of the former president of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. The Bulletin introduces you to emerging young activists, a former Supreme Court Justice, a filmmaker, an economist, and the first female President of Ireland. There is much to uncover in this Bellagio Bulletin. Enjoy!
