The Bellagio Center Residency Program sought candidates for 2024 who are working on projects that will promote the holistic well–being of individuals and societies to foster equity, opportunity, and sustainability. Successful applicants will be working to reorient social, political, and economic systems which seek to balance economic growth and consumption as a means to a diverse set of more important ends such as community, safety, nature, creativity, and freedom.
The Promoting Well–Being Residency is for a multidisciplinary range of stakeholders advancing projects with the potential for breakthroughs. Academics, artists, journalists and writers, policymakers, and on-the-ground practitioners were all welcome to apply. All applicants will be required to describe a concrete project which addresses the theme and clearly links to their expertise.
Areas of interest:

- Empowering Leaders – How can we elevate and amplify the leadership of local and indigenous communities, as well as women and communities of color?
