Universal health coverage means that everyone, everywhere can access quality health services without financial hardship. It is a powerful idea that has gained incredible momentum in the last few years alone, with growing support from global policymakers and grassroots advocates alike.
But few people know why or how this happened, or how far back the story really goes. Even fewer understand why universal health coverage matters—and why we must press forward with urgency to finish the job.
This is where the Health for All project comes in.
The Rockefeller Foundation has been partnering with Helios Design Labs and the Global Health Strategies to create a multimedia experience that aims to tell the story of the global struggle for Health for All like never before. The project will capture the human stories behind the movement, draw threads from its roots in history to the road ahead, and—hopefully—inspire audiences old and new.
The project is slated to debut ahead of the first official Universal Health Coverage Day on 12 December 2018. Watch the first official preview below and click to share.
