The Rockefeller Foundation partners with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History to create the Hamilton Education Initiative, based on the Broadway musical Hamilton.

By 2019, the five-year partnership allowed 250,000 underprivileged high school students to participate in educational programs that integrate the arts with American history and to attend a performance of Hamilton.
