The Rockefeller Foundation has recently commissioned an independent evaluation of our support for cultural innovation. This video on the Queens Museum—whose director was just recently appointed New York City commissioner of cultural affairs by Mayor Bill de Blasio—is an illustrative example of how we’ve leveraged culture as a means of creating more equal access to opportunities in our home city.
