Last year, after scouring the globe for the organizations and individuals working to harness the power of innovation on behalf of poor and vulnerable populations, we were thrilled to announce three winners of the 2013 Next Century Innovators Award. One of the winners was Global Minimum’s Innovate Salone initiative, a challenge that empowers youth in Sierra Leone to build solutions to the most pressing problems that their families and communities face.
