In light of the current crisis, The Rockefeller Foundation 2020 President’s Annual Letter by Dr. Rajiv J. Shah focuses on the Foundation’s response to COVID-19, and how we and our partners are meeting this moment by helping communities respond, recover, and eventually rebuild.
We have set three goals for our COVID-19 Response: 1) accelerating the current global response to this pandemic and preventing the next one; 2) fighting the existing and emerging crisis of hunger and malnutrition that we’re seeing in the United States and around the world; and 3) helping workers, families, and vulnerable communities get through this moment and emerge with greater opportunity than they had before. We will be committing $50 million over two years in support of these goals because the time to act is now.
