The Rockefeller Foundation opened its Washington office in 2019 as part of its growing commitment to advancing public policies that “promote the well-being of humanity.” The work in Washington is focused particularly on the Foundation’s program priorities with an emphasis on policies and analyses backed by data and evidence.
The Washington office also facilitates bipartisan discussion of issues with policy makers and thought leaders in ways that enable action and real results to benefit people across the United States and globally. These discussions are intended to bring together unusual partners to focus on solving problems together. They include not only leaders in Washington, but also at state and local levels in the U.S.
