As the Director, Operations and Grants Management, Asia, Busaba Tejagupta entrusted with the overall administration of Asia and Africa Regional grants. She is also taking care of all HR and office administrative tasks as well as overseeing finance and IT functions.
She joined the Foundation in October 2002. Before joining the Foundation, she worked as the Regional Finance and Administration Officer for EngenderHealth Bangkok, Thailand Office. She assisted the Senior Director in preparing work plans and budgets for projects in Bangladesh, Myanmar and Vietnam as well as gained an intimate knowledge of the administration and sustainability issues of non-governmental organizations, an experience that has helped her be and effective and sympathetic communicator with the grant-receiving partners of a grant-giving organization like The Rockefeller Foundation. She earlier worked for Auto Alliance (Thailand) Co. (joint venture automotive company between Ford Motor and Mazda Corporation) as Senior Buyer, and for USAID/Regional Support Mission for East Asia as Contract Specialist.
She earned her master’s degree in Business from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University and bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Kasetsart University, Thailand.
