Project: “Harnessing organization change theory to transform the education of physicians”
Dr. Clarence Braddock is a national leader in medical education, bioethics, and doctor-patient communication, especially shared decision-making. He came to Bellagio in March 2023 to begin writing a book on how organizational change in medical education can enable future physicians to deliver outstanding healthcare and act as advocates for broader societal and structural factors that influence health. Dr. Braddock is the Professor of Medicine, Executive Vice Dean, and Vice Dean for Education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he holds the Maxine and Eugene Rosenfeld Endowed Chair in Medical Education.
