Project: “White Paper for the Design of Indonesia’s Health and Well-Being: Policy Direction and Recommendations (2024-2034)”
Diah Saminarsih is a renowned global development practitioner and public health advocate. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and CEO of the public health non-profit Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiatives and recently concluded her role as the Senior Advisor to the WHO Director General on Gender and Youth. She has received awards for Social Innovations from the Economist Intelligence Unit and is a recipient of the Global Award from the Open Government Partnership for improvement of public service in primary health care. Diah visited Bellagio in April 2023 to write a paper about the future design of Indonesia’s health sector development, which will be submitted to the incoming government.
