Edie Emanuela Meidav is an award winning author whose novels have garnered the Kafka Prize, Bard Fiction Prize, and the Howard Prize. She came to Bellagio in May 2023 to begin writing a sequel to her novel, Lola, California, and drafting a play on contemporary women. Edie is currently a professor in the MFA for Poets and Writers at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is also the founder of Radius, a program partnering with NPR to share the skills of storytelling with underserved members of the greater community. She has conducted workshops in restorative justice and theater work across the globe and has served as a judge for multiple literary awards.
