Geraldine (Gerry) Watson is executive vice president, finance, operations, and Pocantico at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and has served in this role since 2006. This executive leadership team position includes oversight of the investment, accounting, technology, human resources, and operations functions for the RBF, as well as the Rockefeller Family Fund (RFF), the David Rockefeller Fund (DRF), and several of the Fund’s affiliates. Ms. Watson also leads the RBF’s mission-aligned investing efforts and oversees the management of The Pocantico Center operations.
Ms. Watson serves as a member of the board of RF Catalytic Capital, The Foundation Financial Officers Group, and Volunteer New York!. She is also a trustee of The Interchurch Center, where she chairs the finance committee, and is a member of the audit committee of The Asian Cultural Council. Ms. Watson joined the RBF in 1994 as comptroller, directing the financial reporting responsibilities for the RBF, the RFF, the DRF, the Asian Cultural Council, and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. Prior to joining the RBF, Ms. Watson was an independent consultant, providing financial and tax services to individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. She also served as an audit manager with Price Waterhouse. Ms. Watson received a B.S. from Fairfield University and attained her CPA classification shortly thereafter.
