Haifa Badi Uz Zaman is an Innovation Manager at The Rockefeller Foundation focused on the Foundation’s AI for Global Development portfolio. Her work involves research, grantmaking and unlocking strategic partnerships that utilize AI for improved health, education, and climate related outcomes for communities around the world.
Prior to The Rockefeller Foundation, Haifa worked as a Program Manager at Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered AI, the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society and the Cyber Policy Center. At Stanford, Haifa launched bespoke education programs and partnerships to strengthen learning exchange and collaboration with civil society organizations in the tech and society landscape. She has also managed college to career pathways programs for underserved students at Citizen Schools in the United States and supported the promotion and fundraising efforts for scholarship programs at the Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa, Kenya.
Haifa has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the American University of Sharjah and a master’s degree in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
