Keith Olson joined The Rockefeller Foundation in 2024 as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer with responsibilities for the foundation’s financial management. Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation, he spent twelve years with the Council on Foreign Relations as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibilities that included CFR’s financial management, risk management, IT, digital, and facilities operations. Keith also spent eight years in Seattle with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, after beginning his career in corporate finance and consulting with Prudential Capital Group and KPMG. He holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and BS degrees in economics and industrial management from Purdue University.
