Project: “Acts of Wearing”
Peruvian designer and scholar, Lucia Cuba, approaches expanded fashion practices, at the intersection of social justice, public health and art. Cuba came to Bellagio in May of 2022 to work on the project Acts of Wearing, a transdisciplinary study on the experience of children through the lens of clothing and cloth. She currently works as an independent artist and as an Assistant Professor of Fashion Design and Social Justice, and Director of the MFA Fashion Design and Society program at Parsons, The New School University.
