Salomé Saldarriaga is freelance journalist with a background in international affairs and social and environmental issues. She recently graduated as one of two Latina’s in CNN Academy and UCD Clinton Institute’s first cohort for the MA in Journalism and International Affairs. Her thesis included producing a short video on how monoculture farming (specifically eucalyptus, pine and avocado hass) from multinationals is affecting the environment and communities in Colombia.
