Saroj Sedalia is Director of Strategic Learning & Impact at the Rockefeller Foundation, where she collaborates with program teams to develop evidence-based strategies for social change and to use data for ongoing learning and improvement.
Ms. Sedalia has almost 20 years of experiencing working across academic, private, and public sectors in support of better health and well-being. Prior to joining the Rockefeller Foundation, Saroj was an Associate Partner at Rabin Martin – a public health impact firm – where she helped shape global partnerships and strategies to improve access to health care. Saroj is also a seasoned monitoring and evaluation practitioner – while with the Averting Maternal Death and Disability Program at Columbia University, she led monitoring and evaluation efforts in collaboration with organizations including BRAC, CARE India and UNICEF. Finally, Saroj has worked to better understand the intersection of gender and health while with UNICEF and the International Center for Research on Women.
She holds a Master of Public Health from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from The Ohio State University.
